Our decades of experience in the cutting of high-quality lamellas and sawn veneers have proved particularly valuable. This has allowed us to mature into an acknowledged specialist in upstream and downstream machining processes as well.
Yet for WINTERSTEIGER, things don't end with the sale of the machine. We also support our customers in terms of service, extension, modernization, or optimization of existing plants - world-wide and sustainably.
Major customer-specific project about to be completed.
Particularly challenging at the moment is a major project: a band saw system for a European customer in the field of organic lightweight components. Specifically, it is a vertical band saw with automatic transport loading and unloading. Large-scale blocks - 3,100 mm long, 2,400 mm deep and 660 mm wide - are cut using specially designed saws with a kerf of only 0.95 mm! The customer will have the system installed in the 3rd quarter of this year.
