Turkey: Major order for WINTERSTEIGER
WINTERSTEIGER is very pleased to have won a major order in Turkey. A brand-new five-star hotel run by the XANADU group opened its doors on 11.11.2011 in the Palandöken ski resort in the province of Erzurum.
The aim is to become a trendsetter by establishing top levels of quality enjoyed in the West here in Turkey. Successful coach Dieter Bartsch has also relocated to this high-class hotel with a ski racing school.
The Turks first made contact with WINTERSTEIGER at ISPO 2011 in Munich. The Ried-based company chalked up decisive plus points in comparisons with other exhibitors at the fair for its presentation and brand awareness.
In the end, the package deal of service workshop, rental and lockers from a single-source supplier was also the crucial factor in awarding the contract to WINTERSTEIGER. So ultimately a major order worth around EUR 250,000 was concluded.
The professional ski rental facility will supply up to 400 people with skis and snowboards. WINTERSTEIGER's state-of-the-art storage lockers with built-in heating system have been installed successfully. A service workshop with automated grinding machine and binding adjustment unit will guarantee a proficient and reliable ski service.
As a result, the hotel with its spellbinding view of the town of Erzurum is perfectly equipped in good time for the anticipated rush of skiers and snowboarders.
