Service Technician
Division SEEDMECH

 

Service Technician for Ag equipment:

 

We are looking for a service technician based out of our service facility in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will have good customer service and communication skills, will be self motivated, organized, have good computer skills and can work in a small team. Duties include servicing combines and planting equipment in our service shop as well as at customer locations, trouble-shooting, delivering, setting up and demonstrating new equipment. Some travel across Canada is required. 

Ag, Heavy Equipment or Automotive Journeyman status preferred, but all levels considered.  Agricultural background would be an asset.

Valid driver's license is required.

Requirements:
  1. The successful candidate will have good mechanical and customer service skills, is organized and can work well in a small team.
  2. This position will have a wide variety of responsibilities from servicing, reparing and trouble shooting of combines and planters in the shop and at customers site.
  3. Employees will work with receiving new equipment from our factory in Austria, will do the final quality check, organize delivery of new equipment, and will do on site customer trainings .
  4. Employees will also develop skills to work with customers over the phone with parts orders and technical support.
  5. Experience in agriculture is a plus.
