Following orders in the energy sector, WINTERSTEIGER DRYTECH is now also achieving successes among waste management and disposal companies. In future the team from HAMEG HausmülleinsammlungsgesmbH (Domestic Waste Collection company) will be using the DRYTECH drying systems.

The 10th Kommunale, the trade fair for the municipal sector, took place in Nuremberg/Germany from October 14 to 15. Wintersteiger was represented at the trade fair for the first time with its own exhibition stand and presented innovations and technical solutions for drying work wear for towns, communities and fire fighters.
Machine Constructor Among Top Six in Product Design
On October 22 the Austrian National Prize for "Design 2009" was awarded for the 38th time in the Museum Quarter, Vienna. In front of several hundred guests, State Secretary Christine Marek recognised Austria's creative industries for their services. The Austrian National Prize 2009 is awarded in a total of three different categories. WINTERSTEIGER was nominated in the category "Product Design of Investment Goods" and thus achieved a place among the top six.
Often, wet work clothes are simply hung in drying rooms where warm temperatures, long drying times and the lack of disinfection systems support the growth of bacteria and germs. Furthermore, the use of drying rooms results in higher energy costs.
At this year's Préventica in Toulouse - a special fair for occupational safety - the WINTERSTEIGER/Ski2 Industry drying locker "Eole Team" was rewarded with the innovation prize in the "hygiene" category.
In addition to a programmable 24-h-timer, the Innova drying systems for shoes, boots, helmets or gloves are equipped with a 4-h-timer (egg timer). This update offers more flexibility and easier operation.
